TLDR: Really enjoyed our meal. They Say That is a neighborhood Thai spot that has both traditional and a new take on a lot of familiar dishes. Definitely get the curry mac n' cheese with the salmon. I had wanted to check out this newer Thai spot in Bushwick. It's small but they have both more traditional dishes and some new creative ones. We tried the mushroom larb, crab rangoon, the curry mac n' cheese and the squid ink fried rice. The mushrooms had a nice delicate chew and plenty of spice, lots of acidity and the toasted rice powder which is the classic larb taste. The crab rangoon were extra large and packed with cream cheese and crab The mac n' cheese was the standout. A rich and velvety curry, cheesy but not overdone with al dente pasta shells. The pan-seared salmon was very delicious as well. Not a dish I would normally order but just really outstanding. The fried rice was good too but between the squid ink and salted egg sauce - it is very rich and a lot going on. The Thai iced tea was great, not too sweet. Definitely will be visiting again.

Perfect experience. Sat at the bar, owners were super sweet and happy to be there and have you there. Every plate was licked clean. Loved the crab Rangoon, squid ink rice, and pork jowl. A girl behind us ordered the crispy fish and it looked insane - need to go back just to try it and everything else we didn’t try. Really genuine people and delish food.

Love this restaurant. Everything we had was perfect. I especially loved their Remedy Hotpot, very reminiscent of something I’ve had in Thailand before. The dish was filled with meat and vegetables. Overall, they did not skimp on the dishes. 👍

if you’re looking for a spot with amazing food and even better vibes, you need to check out they say that in brooklyn. this cozy thai wine bar puts such a fun and modern twist on thai flavors while still keeping everything incredibly delicious. the staff was so kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. my favorite dish had to be the mac and cheese, such a creative take and packed with flavor in every bite. their new summer menu is also a must try, especially the arancini balls which were perfectly crunchy and paired so well with the sauce. the drinks were super refreshing too, and the mango cloud was definitely a standout. from the creative dishes to the warm atmosphere, everything here was thoughtfully done and absolutely worth checking out

Really cute spot. Well designed and happy atmosphere. Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Classic and modern/unique Thai dishes which kept things interesting. Everything we tried was excellent! Cocktails were yummy and not an afterthought. They even offered a complementary mango digestive with our check. So thoughtful! An excellent and overdue addition to the neighborhood. We will be back!
